The Phenomenon of MSMEs Performance in Magelang City During the Pandemic COVID-19

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a fundamental role in the regional economy as well national economy. This study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding performance variability of MSMEs during COVID-19 pandemic. The research population is all Magelang City. sample was 7,924 obtained through purposive sampling. uses descriptive statistical analysis. results discussion show that City Magelang, from an economic perspective, has fairly stable condition 2015 2019. However, pandemic 2020 put recession phase. Nevertheless, competitiveness increased compared analysis shows South District lowest turnover MSMEs. Central Subdistrict highest MSME value. average North Districts.
